On the 9th September, 1889, a murder takes place at LeConey Mill in Merchantsville.
The following morning, a young black man called Frank Lingo is arrested on suspicion of murder.
Frank is acquitted. But the story doesn’t end there.
In fact, two more murders take place and Frank is one again under suspicion.
Is Frank the murderer, or is he an innocent victim of a racist society?

Author David DeVito has been wanting to tell Frank’s real-life story for many years.
Written as historical fiction, the novel follows many of the actual events that happened over 100 years ago.
