This book will remind readers of “The Peripheral” which was turned into a popular sci-fi Netflix series.
However, “Finding K” is much more with a perplexing mystery, fascinating characters, philosophical analysis, trust, betrayal, and mind-altering technology.
The underlying plot is that there are two opposing organizations wanting to find “The Key” which is in the hands of the main character, Anna. Whoever finds “The Key” first will be able to complete the creation of “The Weapon,” a mass mind-altering technology that was first developed by Anna’s father and scientist, Cal.
Anna has to first learn exactly what “The Key” is and then decide who, if anyone, should have it. The problem is, no one can be trusted, and Anna may have to end up destroying herself so that no one can have “The Key.”
Can Anna be saved? Can she find “The Key” in time?
This is the story of “Finding K.”
PROJECT DETAILS
Author Paul Joffe had already written a version of Finding K but was struggling to get noticed by the publishing houses.
I was recommended to rewrite the novel, using the same premise and themes.
